A QR code stands for Quick Response Code and is a 2D matrix barcode that is able to hold a large amount of information and is readable by a scanner (smart phone). The QR code was invented by Denso Wave of Japan in 1994. It is one of the simplest ways to have your pet returned to you in the event they are separated from you. This tag also has toll free number.
The KumasonCo Smart Pet Tag requires only a one-step activation. The engraved code and ID link to a web page that contains all of your contact information and a detailed profile for your pet such as their name, age, special needs, veterinarian, vaccine record and more.
The information that you enter when setting up your profile, is what a good samaritan will see when they scan the tag with their phone. In Pet Privacy Settings, you can control what data you want displayed when your pet’s ID tag is scanned. If they don’t want to scan, they can call the toll free number on the tag.
*There is an optional Premium Subscription which would allow you to receive notification the moment your pet's tag is scanned, including GPS data from the scanner's phone if they allow it. This would be displayed in an email and you would simply click on the map in the email to view directions from your current location. You do not need to pay for a Premium subscription for this tag to work.
Included with the tag is a sturdy stainless steel dog clip and two different sized split rings. The dog clip works well especially if you have a large dog that has a thick collar ring. Easy to put on and take off.
This is an invaluable product to give you peace of mind if your pet ever gets lost.
